BOARD OF SELECTMAN

REGULAR MEETING

1.     Call to order 7:00 p.m.

2.     Approval of previous minutes for 9-19-07 meeting.

3.     Public Comment.

4.     OLD BUSINESS:

4.1  To see if the selectmen will adopt the first quarterly budget report and

Recommendations of the Town Administrator.

 

4.2       To see if the selectmen will approve municipal warrant #5.

4.3       To see if the selectman will approve an Invitation to Bid for the transportation and disposal of municipal solid wastes and recyclables.

4.4       To see if the selectmen are of the opinion to have a Special Town Meeting as previously anticipated under Article #6 at Town Meeting.

4.5       To see if the selectman will appoint one (1) selectman to serve on the Islands Coalition.

4.6       To see if the selectman will designate their representative for the Town of Chebeague Island on the Greater Portland Council of Governments.

4.7       To see if the selectman will agree to set a date to establish membership, terms and charge for a Cemetery, Comprehensive Plan and Finance Committees, as well as a task force to advise and develop a budget development process timetable.

5. Administratorπs Report:

            5.1       Status of State Veterinarian Visit to Firehouse Road Residence

            5.2       Central Maine Power Protocol for Replacing Inoperable Lights

5.3       Status of Wharf Road/Cousins Island Ferry Access Project

5.4       State Auditor field audit visit and consultation

5.5       Out of office at Trio Budget Training in Bangor on 10-16-07

5.6       Legal advice on how to handle Board of Assessorπs role and responsibilities

5.7       Status Report from the Planning Board and the Board of Adjustment & Appeals.

5.8       Status of Personnel Handbook

5.9       Stone Pier Road Parking Improvement

6. NEW BUSINESS:

6.1  To see if the selectmen will set a date for the next annual town meeting.
